Known as Art Nouveau in France, Jugendstil in Germany and Modernisme in Catalonia, the “total” art style that embraces architecture and design from the period between 1890 and 1910 still defines the Golden Age of Barcelona’s cultural heritage. Whether it be residential, industrial or cultural the many buildings from that period that still survive today are testimony to the ambitions and sophistication of a society that was emerging onto the world stage for the first time.

Our Off-the-grid tour includes visits to some of the lesser known gems that represent the work of not only the masters such as Antoni Gaudí and Domènech i Montaner but also lesser know but nonetheless equally intriguing figures such as Josep María Jujol, Puig i Cadalfach and Manuel Sayrach.
